This discussion started at (what I like to call) the Systems Engineering Professional Salon on 2023-07-14. I offered to provide some notes based on my memory of what we discussed. Here are the topics I captured:
- we need a Logo
- How to manage cross-application community? (alexander)
- Provide a consolidated event calendar
- Create a youtube channel for capturing events and sharing
- discuss creating this as a non-profit
- there appeared to be agreement that a different venue/style for discussion that is different than INCOSE is valuable
- Bruce offered the Systems Innovation Network as an example of an adjacent web-based professional community
- there was some discussion near the end that we should start small/less complicated due to available time of participants and see if there is enough traction to gain active contributing supporters
